How Freight Works
All brick, pavers, and stone ship banded and wrapped on pallets via freight carrier. Delivery is curbside only unless prior arrangements are made. Freight charges are calculated based on weight, destination, and delivery requirements, and we quote them before you commit.
Please inspect all shipments upon arrival. Any visible damage should be noted with the driver before signing the delivery receipt. That one signature is what protects your claim.
How it works
Order confirmed and paid
The 48-hour clock starts when the invoice is paid, not when the enquiry comes in.
Palletized and wrapped
Brick, pavers, and stone are banded and wrapped on pallets so they arrive as they left.
Freight booked
Palletized LTL or full truckload depending on the load, quoted on weight, destination, and delivery requirements before you commit.
Curbside delivery
Delivery is curbside unless you arrange otherwise in advance. Inspect the load and note any damage with the driver before you sign.

Two shipping points
New Orleans and Dallas–Fort Worth. Shipping from whichever yard is closer to your site is often the difference between a sensible freight bill and a silly one.
Site-access planning
Tell us about the driveway, the gate, the overhead lines, and whether there is a forklift. Freight problems are almost always access problems that nobody mentioned.
Consolidated loads
Brick, pavers, flagstone, and setts from the same yard can ship together on one load rather than three separate freight bills.

Coverage figures are planning estimates. Antique brick and stone vary; confirm quantities with us before ordering.
Questions we get asked
Do you deliver outside Louisiana and Texas?
Yes — we ship palletized freight to any job site in the continental United States. The two yards mean the Gulf South and Texas get short freight, and everywhere else gets a quoted palletized load.
What equipment do I need on site?
Delivery is curbside on a freight truck, so you need a way to get pallets off the truck and where they need to go — normally a forklift or a machine with forks. If you do not have one, tell us before we book the freight and we will look at what can be arranged.
What if the load arrives damaged?
Note any visible damage with the driver before you sign the delivery receipt — that signature is what protects the claim. Then contact us within 5 business days with photographs and we will work with you on a replacement or a partial refund as appropriate.
