When Thin Brick Is the Right Call
Interior walls, fireplace surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, elevator lobbies, and retrofit facades rarely have the structure or the floor space for a full four-inch wythe. Thin brick gives you the same face, the same colour range, and the same mortar joint at a fraction of the weight and depth.
Because we cut from our own reclaimed stock, your veneer can match the full brick used elsewhere on the same project—a detail that matters when a facade wraps into a covered porch or an interior stair.

Cut from the same blends
Our veneer is sawn from our own reclaimed stock in Soft Red, Hard Tan, Old Chicago, and St. Louis Red. That means a facade can wrap into a covered porch or an interior stair and read as one material.
Corner pieces available
L-shaped corner pieces are cut to order and sold by the linear foot, so external returns look like full brick rather than a stuck-on face.
Light enough for interiors
At roughly 5–7 lb per sq.ft it suits most interior substrates — fireplace surrounds, backsplashes, lobbies, and retrofit walls that could never carry a four-inch wythe.
Sample boards on request
We will mount a board showing the full colour range within a blend, which is the only honest way to judge veneer before it is on the wall.

Questions we get asked
Is this the same as manufactured thin brick?
No. Manufactured thin brick is moulded or printed to imitate age. Ours is genuine salvaged brick, over a century old, sawn down to a veneer — so the face you see is a real weathered brick face, not a reproduction of one.
Can thin brick be used outside?
Yes, over a properly detailed and drained substrate. Exterior veneer needs correct flashing, a drainage plane, and a competent installer — it is a cladding system, not just a finish. Talk to us about the blend and we will flag anything worth raising with your mason.
What mortar should we use?
Match mortar to the brick, not the other way round. Antique brick is generally softer than modern production, so a softer, lime-rich mortar is usually right — a hard modern mortar can damage the brick over time. We supply jointing and mortar guidance with the order.
How fast can material ship?
Once your invoice is paid we can have a truck on the road within 48 hours on stock material. Order processing typically runs 2–3 business days; large or custom orders may need longer, and we will tell you the date before you commit.
How is material packaged and delivered?
Everything ships banded and wrapped on pallets by palletized LTL or full truckload freight. Delivery is curbside only unless you arrange otherwise in advance. Freight is calculated on weight, destination, and delivery requirements, and quoted before you order. Inspect the load on arrival and note any visible damage with the driver before you sign the delivery receipt—that signature is what protects your claim.
